What Animal Are You Unleashing
What animal are you unleashing!
The world we live in is a crazy jungle. Everyone out there is trying to survive and make it to the next level in either their careers, passion or personal lives. It really is survival of the fittest. But that doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing. Trying to reach your goals or achieve a certain degree of content requires commitment and patience. It also requires you to unleash your inner animal.
Your spirit animal is kind of a reflection of who you are and allows you to observe yourself out in the wild. My inner animal is a leopard, not just because those prints look dope on clothes, but because of the confidence and power that animal portrays. I remember when I was a kid and the first time I saw a leopard at the zoo I knew that was my spirit animal. It walked in a way that portrayed confidence and power and that was something a young girl like me wanted for herself in the future.
Leopards also represent something any woman can relate to. The leopard’s spots and appearances are the first things people look at, rather than the power and strength it has. Women are primarily judged on their appearances instead of their brains. I feel that the leopard is a representation of who I am because I am trying to get people to hear my voice and value my brains despite what I look like. The leopard in me is what pushes me to work on this blog and use my voice to survive in this world. I won’t deny that it’s nice hearing compliments, but it’s even more beautiful knowing that people acknowledge my brain. It’s really a struggle to get people to hear your voice as a fashion blogger that cares about real life issues. But it’s the leopard in me that keeps me going and reminds me that I will survive the jungle we live in and I will have my voice heard!
Ladies you need a leopard shirt in your wardrobe, even if it’s not your spirit animal. The best thing about leopard prints is that they are neutral colors and can be paired with any color. I decided to stay simple and pair it with black pants. You can add some accessories to it, but not too much since the prints are more than enough.
